It all started when…

I was born and raised on a family farm in New York state in a strong Christian home with 10 siblings and multiple foster children who were always welcomed and nurtured in our home. I learned the value of hard work and responsibility early on, so work ethic and community became instrumental in my growth and development, both personally and professionally. As one of five sons to a father who worked full time off the farm as well as running it, we were responsible for much of the construction and maintenance needs of animals, buildings, and equipment. It was these experiences that drew me into the building industry.

In the late 1980’s we moved to East Michigan and started a building company constructing custom homes, commercial buildings, and developing property. Because of the downturn of the housing market in the mid 2000’s, we moved to New York state to capitalize on other opportunities. In 2010 we left New York for Indianapolis to be closer to family. I later moved to West Michigan to work for a renovation company as their Project Manager. In early 2019, I reinstated my Michigan Builders License and restarted Lehman Builders LLC.
